i was stung by a purple man-o-war when i was 12 - now THAT hurts.

Reef tank in my home office




Agressive Fish Tank in my game room... triggers dog face Puffers, Porcupine Puffer, and a Cow Fish

 

Used to be in my old house... My wife put a piece of furniture on the wall where my 180 was going in the new house before I could get it setup. Had to sell it since it did not fit anywhere else that made sense... Had the whole setup just they way I wanted it to.. Chiller and all.

Women..... LOL

Now if your girlfriend wanted me to move the tank I may have to consider... J/K

It was a favorite hobby for me...

He's a little too friendly, swims up to the glass when I walk up.
I took him out of the tank sat him on the floor for a half hour, and said "how do you like that you little ****" ...LOL .. J/K

I have had some of my fish for going on 5 years
Maroon Clown (awsome fish) 5 years and his anenome has split 5 times and has lived as long as he has.
A Purple tang, (5 years, He is barely alive at this point Lateral Line, and Fin rot, A really hard fish to keep.
Snowflake Moray Eel, Mandarin Gobie, and lots of corals.

The only problem I have encountered is green hair alge..
A freakin nightmare, Upkeep is a *****, butI think I am winning

I took these pics and blinded them both a few minutes ago.

 

The top spikes are the stingers, The Eel has bit me twice too while feeding.

 

On my back deck I have a 70 lb. alligator snapping turtle with a head like a pitbull. He tries to kill me every time I have to move him. He's the only pet I've ever owned that could seriously wound me if I'm not careful (fingers gone for sure, could maybe take a hand).

Take a extension cord preferbly orange ( so they thinks its food)
cut off the end.. plug into wall, and watch them take a bite

Never had that problem. Guess I have a bunch of weenie fish. A Clarki, Strawberry fish, and yellow tang. Maybe I'll go and try to grab my Urchin!

Yeah the pain finally went away, It was a learning experience...LOL
I have been stung by man o war too while surfing, That definately hurts alot more, Got one of em caught between my fingers and stung the other hand trying to pull the damn thing off!
Give me chills up my spine to even bring it up
