Can anybody post here some website with cars for sale from US ? because i want to look wich are the 997 prices carrera S in United States. In Romania it's rare and expensive and in germany it stars 60.000+ euro. I will try to buy it from US because is more cheap, and shipping 2000-2500 $ maximum i think ,will be more cheap than i buying from europe.
So i'm waiting for you guys to post some website here, thanks.

I see there what you search "3 items found for 'c4s'"

No i don't want a 4wheel drive, i want RWD i think, so i should search a Carrera S.

At 18 you probably are a good driver but can only be a good driver within the standards (experience) of 18 year olds.

Many times the most difficult road to take is the best. I will not give you any advice on what Porsche to buy or tell you how much you know or don't know about them.
I will post what I would do in your position and hope you give it some consideration
I would gracefully thank my mother for the wonderful thought of offering to give me such a gift.
I then would decline and let her know that it is important to you to work towards achieving that goal/challenge on your own.
This is an important part of being a strong self sufficient man. You will make your mother very proud as she will be able to see into this
Please also think of this.
No matter how careful and good one is as a driver the chances of a serious accident in a sports car are much much higher. If you would be in such an unfortunate situation your mother will feel an incredible amount of guilt no matter what you think. This is a position you should never put her in regardless of how bad you want a 996/7

I do hope it all works out for you
That's basically what I wrote but in a 'nicer' way

We see these threads come up a few time per year. However, I am sure you are more mature and responsible than the two drivers below.

I have a 996 2 wheel drive without PSM, and it does get scary at times, i would say that its a good idea to learn how to drive it well... i have yet to go to learn.

Nice magazine driving. These cars need to be respected regardless of model year. It is our hope that you realize it before you get behind the wheel.

Does this thread eerily remind anyone else of that m5board's kid story? You know, the kid who showed up on the boards asking very similar questions, except he was all about an E90 M5. One night he posted up that he was going to go shoot video of him driving. Sadly, he and four friends ended up launching the car off the end of a runway. They flew 200ft into a tree. All died immediately. This thread is so similiar it creeps me out.
