On a cab that sees 0 track use, just get the quietest pads you can find.

I recently replaced the pads at all four wheels with Hawk Ceramics. When I painted the calipers last summer I used the opportunity to install some stainless lines and I also flushed the brake system, including clutch, with ATE Blue ....I could not be happier. I don't track the car, it's my daily driver, and it has more brakes than I will ever need, hopefully ;-) ...and the best part is there is virtually no dust compared to the Porsche/Mintex Pads the dealer installed a couple years ago. I bought the pads from Tire Rack, hardware kits from Pelican and I reused the vibration dampers . Not a single sound from the pads and my 19 inch wheels stay CLEAN! Do the work yourself, it easy and you'll be glad you did.

John L, after reading your post, I think I'm going to go with the Hawk pads now, mainly due to less break dust. Are these the pads you installed?

Those are the Hawk ceramic pads I used although the price seems to have gone up in the last few months? Shop around but I know you'll love the low dust if that's what you are after. Good luck and lets us know what you think of them after the install.

If tracking car rather regularly, I found Performance Friction to be excellent.
