I recently purchased the iPorsche and it works great with my ipod nano 2G.

I also have a 3G iphone but haven't been able to get it to work - anyone had success with it?

Need immediate help, please assist. Thanks in advance.
Sorry, this kit won't work with the CDR-210.

Euclid,

I tried to PM you but can't because my post count isn't high enough yet. Can you PM me regarding the iPorsche? I have a CDR-220, which I believe should work with your kit.

install

FYI to all installing. I picked up the kit a month or so ago and just installed yesterday. It is a nice kit and the instructions are good, but missing one important point. Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but anyone with a cd changer installing this has to remove the plug in the back of the radio, PLUS the connectors at the changer itself. Just disconnecting the plug at the radio will not allow the radio to go into the aux mode. The instructions list disconnecting the CD changer plug at the radio, but not at the changer.

Euclid, you may want to add that to the instructions. Again, sorry if this has been covered, but I spent about an hour till I figured this out. The info may help someone out. Otherwise the install is very quick and the directions are very good.

Thanks for the update Johnny. The instructions don't mention that the changer must be disconnected because it's never been necessary before.

In fact, you're the first case that I've heard of that required the changer to be disconnected as well.

What year is your car? Stereo options?

It is an 02 cab with the 220 and bose package. I remember reading on rennlist that someone had to do this also, but I cant find the link. It wasn't for the iporsche interface, but someone that had the same parts purchased individually. The link was from about a year ago.

On the back of my radio, there is also a plug between the yellow and the blue plug. I think it was green. I imagine that since the the changer has 2 separate plugs into the bottom, there is probably another plug in the back of the radio that needs to be disconnected. I have no idea which one to disconnect at the radio, so I just disconnected at the changer. The radio was still reading a cd changer until I unplugged the two connectors at the changer. That is when I went to aux mode and I could hear the ipod.

ipod connection for 03-05 Bose Premium system--

I'm sure someone has done this job. I have a 2003 4S with the Bose Premium system. (Fiber Optics-Yuck) What is the easiest, cheapest way to hook up my ipod? Any help would be appreciated. I don't have a Changer connected if that helps. Thanks again.

I'd say that, for the MOST bus, Dension's unit is your best bet.

I've installed but can't get any of my iPods to charge. I tested the hot wire and I am getting 12v at the fuse twisty. I can't seem to figure out how to measure the voltage at the connector.
