Sound is subjective but most guys on here upgrade the stock exhaust for more sound...
Gotcha. I think that it is the stock exhaust and it's just louder than I expect. I like it!

Welcome to the 6speed. I was a bimmer guy too. Had a e36 M3 and e46 M3 vert. I've had my 996 C4S for 2 years now. Been on this forum for about 4 months and been fighting the temptation to mod. Just had a new baby, so the funds aren't all there.

heh congrats. We have an 8 month old as well... so far she loves riding in the P-car! (the Graco infant seat fits in the back seat, as long as whomever is in the front has no legs!)

Thanks congrats to you as well. The orbit infant seat I have fits also. Although there is no leg room in the front. I agree she loves riding in the pcar as well. Unfortunately its a garage queen right now. Have you been looking into toddler seats? Was trying to figure out what I need to get in about a year.

does your p-car have an exhaust button on the horshoe... maybe you have a PSE (sport exhaust). Also, Welcome to the 6, nice cab!

The smallest Britax convertible will fit in the back of the 911, but, rear facing, it'd be a real pain to get baby into, if you had a coupe. (with a cab and the top down, it's no problem!)

The Recaro bases seem like they are too wide. I haven't actually bought one yet, I plan to park in front of Babies R Us and drag out all the seats and figure out which one I like best. Porsche makes a really nice one, but it's not cheap, about $600.
