Supercharger with LSD question

Supercharger with LSD question
New to this board!
A question to you supercharged guys.
Since the price is making more sense on the supercharger mod I was wondering whether it becomes a problem if you don't have the LSD option on your car.
Like, do you completely fry one tire when you put your "foot in it"?
I know that you can get a limited slip diff. installed as an aftermarket piece but is it necessary?

i am not too sure if a 996 4S comes with a lsd or not but you have to keep in mind that this specific supercharger setup provides power similar to a turbocharger (not a root style supercharger but a centrifugal setup) this is done to protect our NA engines from blowing up
for the VF setup, the kit doesn't even build any boost till 4k rpms so you definetely won't be frying any tires more than a stock car is when you put your "foot on it"
if you have the money, GET IT! you're car is so much faster and keep these numbers in mind:
2007 Ferrari F430 makes 353 rwhp Claims 480 crank
1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello 365.9rwhp 485 claimed crank
2000 Ferrari 360 Modena 311.4rwhp 400 claimed crank
1985 Ferrari Testarossa 273.6rwhp claimed 428 crank
1982 Ferrari Euro 308 GTS QV 182.6rwhp claimed 255 hp crank
i pulled a 403rwhp on the dyno after my supercharge with high humidity and high heat

it's definitely growing on me
the car just pulls light a fright train (but faster of course)
just worried about this clicking that's coming from the cats (dealer should warranty that) and the solid CEL (which i need to read/clear when the OBI reader arrives today)

Yeah I'm jealous. It would be cool to have one. Every now and then a 996 comes up for sale with one installed and the price seems to be adjusted to account for most of the cost of the SC. I know that sounds good to you, and if I could verify that the SC does hold up the value of the car I'd consider getting one.

i was driving home from watkins glen a few weeks ago after a de and a 360 came up beside me trying to egg me on. i had gotten a ticket on the way up (91 in a 65) so i was trying to hold off but couldn't resist. walked away from him in 5th, i was surprised. we did it 3 times so it wasn't a fluke. the driver was shocked! supercharger is well worth it!
i feel your pain on the ticket, i have two pending ones and if both go thru, my insurance company is going to own my ***

70 in a 55mph is a very unnessary ticket. what a waste of your time
it was probably the HOV violation that pissed off that cop
