My 5 series looks great with them.

 

With the frosted/diffused/opaque design of the 996 lights the LED bulbs only solution doesn't make much difference. Almost all of the true LED solutions use crytal clear colored glass so that you can see the bulbs and the light is not diffused.

YES, EXACTLY....like these....>I've seen these before but just for Boxster.....Someone needs to make these for the 996 market as well.....

Back when he first came on the scene (clearcorners) he made my custom one-off taillights for my Supra in 2000. Nicely done. There may still be a picture of them on my photobucket account. (see pictures)
