Since we're in the topic of cooling... methanol injection injection to the intake tract... Im considering putting this in since Ive been tracking more...

Another member had suggested it years ago and has treated him well at the tack, a true track junkie, that turned his 3.4 into a racecar.

Unless you have also used various sensors on the engine to control the fan switch, such as speed control or outside temperature sensor. With a little ingenuity, any sensor can be used to control whether the fans turn on or off.

However, running all the fans all the time if fine. Cold weather or highway driving is the only time mine are off.

I believe those codes are for the secondary air injection system. Flow is not sufficient. 491 bank 1 and 492 bank 2. It is not normal to get those codes. Check the injection valve and associated vacuum lines. Also check the electrical connection to the changeover valve and that the main hose off the pump is not leaking or disconnected.

i recall the software said the codes were something to do with the secondary airpump bank 1 and bank 2.

hm. thanks for the help ferd and 1999porsche911, i am getting tired of all these codes and CELs. i parked my car in NYC on friday night and after a night of partying, i came back to my card and some F@#k face broke into my car through the driver side window. stole my radar detector (was a total buzz killer) lol. after i get my window fixed at Final Touch, i'm going to drop off the car at RPM North to have them work all the problems out
