Digital Cluster Problems

I'm starting to lose the pixels in the digital part of the instrument cluster. Its on the right side, where the time is displayed. It looks like a snowflake is on top of the time.

Is this common? Any fixes or places to bring it?

Its a 2000 C2 Cab w 7600 miles.

Same issue here

Its a snowflake or spiderweb looking pixel issue on the instrument cluster odometer.

Is this repairable or do you have to replace whole cluster?

BMW had this problem in the X5 and e39 models and they fixed them even out of warranty. Curious what Porsche's stand on this is...

This is a common problem with the LCD's of the instrument cluster. The liquid that is part of the LCD develops a bubble and looks like your picture. This often happens with colder temperatures and it may go away with increased
cabin heating, such as parked outside on sunny day with high outside temperature. The only total fix is cluster replacement.

But it will happen again once the display is cooled down again?
