Speedtech Exhausts will be exhibiting at the 2008 SEMA SHOW, Nov. 4-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We will be located in the Central Hall - Booth 21055 (right across from MAHA dynos). I would like to invite all 6speed members, vendors, etc. to stop by and visit. We will have our entire line of Porsche Exhausts on display (993, 996, 996TT, 997, 997TT, Boxster, etc.), as well as some of our other products, such as our new R9000 OBD2 Digital Multi-Gauge, 996TT-70mm intake and Y-Pipe, some carbon fiber pieces, etc.

The 2008 SEMA show will also serve as the official unveiling our new Subaru WRX/STI complete Exhaust System, which we are very excited about...

Our booth and samples left today. Soon we will be setting up and getting ready for the show. Personally, I can't wait...This is going to be fun!

Not unless you are a business that has registered and have the proper badges...they are pretty strict and guard all entrances.

 

Do you guys have any sound clips of your 996 exhaust for NA cars (C4S)? Is the exhaust route a straight-through design, or baffled etc?

Yes, all Speedtech Porsche exhausts are a straight through design.

Hmm.. they don't look like a straight-through design from the outside, looks like the standard type of single chambered muffler can with separate inlet / exit pipes. Do you have a cut-away view of the internals? By my definition, a straight-through design uses a continuous un-cut pipe through the muffler section, it is not cut into two pieces (one at the muffler entry and one at the exit..)

Bravo to you guys for actually including a flex section on the inlet pipe, this greatly reduces interior cabin vibration.

They are straight through. I do not have a cut away photo, but I can assure you they are a straight through design. I would not make this up. That is how we obtain better performance with our exhausts...by increasing flow.

And just for you, I just put a flexible steel braided wire in one end and it quickly and easily came out the opposite end - it's definitely straight through.
