Talking Drove a 997S when I went to see my new winter car.

My sales guy gave me the keys to a 997S and I went for a short drive today. It was during rush hour so I never got above 3rd gear or 50 mph. I have to admit, the Car looks much better in person than in pictures. I actually like the interior except for the silver center stack which looked kinda cheap, maybe it would be better in Carbon fiber. But the HVAC and other switches are much better than in my 996. The transmission and the shifter are sweet, nice short throws and a snick snick into gear. If I didn't get my '04 C4S Cab, I would be tempted to jump on the list for a 997 C4S cab.

Before i forget why I was there in the 1st place, My S4 daily driver just arrived, will pick it up tomorrow, All wheel drive all the time

We picked up my wife's '05S4Avant a few weeks ago, and love it. Note that the automatic ("tiptronic") is a 6spd too, which causes some confusion. She moved from a 6spd-stick '00 S4 to her new Avant, and the new car is amazingly good.

Congrats on your "commuter"

great looking rs6 im drooling ove rit,

one car that really suprised me was the audi a4 1.8t, when i bought the car for my wife, i didnt really expect anything from it.i thought it was gonna be our grocery getter, but after driving it alot... i am in love with it i love my wife's a4 i totally did not expect to like this car when we bought it, im glad i made the jump to audi ( i came from an mbz family) the car handles, great looks great inside and out, not too expensive and pretty good resale value too ( i think were keeping the a4) the wife loves it too..

i wish i had an rs6 droollll!!

here is a pic of the wife's audi

it has 19' hartge wheels
sportec front skirt
sportec side skirt
ebay brand headligght lids
caractere roof wing

Thumbs up

I was looking at one of these a few months ago (S4). I was really surprised by how well it was executed. What a car.

RS6? Another beauty. A neighbor has an E55 and an RS6; I have to admit I prefer the Audi's looks. I think the last gen A6 is one of the sharpest designs in years.

That blue A4 is stunning barebones! The wheels and the skirts really set it off.
