I was very interested as well in the rear one... but a very bad experience with a fiberglass front bumper made me not buy it, good to know I did't go with it!

but sucks for you Doug!!

They should accept a return, afterall, it's an inferior quality product and customer's not satisfied. There shouldn't be any complaints for that price!

Sorry you have to be the victim, Doug.

Angry Photos of FVD Fiberglass Bumper

Just returned from body shop, where I took some photos of the bumper. You can see just how thin it is.

I find out today that bottom mounting points will have to be fabricated as well.

Starting to lean more towards getting a refund. Shipping will kill me though, as well as restocking fee (if they charge one). Decisions, decisions...

Restocking fee for that? I hope they wouldn't try to sell it to someone else!

what?... that bumper will start cracking in no time, can't believe thats $1000. Its not even worth $100 in that condition. Is the bumper plastic, reinforced with fiber?

is that fiberglass or "Fiberglass-reinforced plastics"? If it was 100% fiberglass, yes I agree it would be of grave concern because it is too stiff.

I was thinking seriously about this kit......may have to rethink.

Will wait until FVD chimes in.

+1 Where that vent is positioned, doesn't make sense from an airflow standpoint, it might as well be a decal!

Trying to make a buck by screwing people - just not the way to go, especially in such a niche market.

Did they charge you for shipping? If so, when they agree to have it returned for a complete refund, it should include whatever they charged you for shipping to cover your cost of sending it back. It's really the least they could do. They ought to hurry up and do some damage control.

Sent Rhonda an email a few hours ago. Here's her reply. I'm beginning to feel happy again... Thanks Rhonda.

+1. Have purchased from FVD before with no issues.

Looks like FVD will be standing behind the products they sell. Although this should have been caught by QC, would have saved some heart aches and the reputation of FVD.
