Run in with Yellow Gallardo
What's up guys, today on my way to the gym I encounter a yellow Gallardo. I immediately get on his *** as we get on the freeway to see if he's game. We both move over to Lane 1 where the traffic cleared up. We both gun it, I'm in 3rd shifting into 4th. At this point I'm still right behind him. 4th to 5th he starts pulling major car lengths and he just disappears. I got up to about 115 and shut it down. That thing is a damn beast guys. If I had the cash flow, that would be on my A list. I eventually pull up to him and give him a thumbs up. The 911 turbos would have given it a much better run for it's money. Anyways, just wanted to share with everyone.

Hi, I'm Paul, and this is my first time joining the C4S support group. It's been 3 days since my last Carrera.
Seriously, though, the truly amazing thing is the Lambo driver being canny enough to be in the right gear to pull on you. My experience with Lamborghini drivers is (and I'm generalizing, so no offence to the Lamborghini enthusiasts) that they often don't really know how to drive them, and wind up two gears too high.
Also, has anyone seen a dyno for the Gallardo? Are they geniunely pulling 500 HP, as the performance numbers seem a bit unimpressive for a car with that much grunt, even given how much it weighs.
BTW, there's a chain of semi-cheesy Mexican restaurants in St. Louis called Casa Gallardo, so every time I see one, I have the mental image of their low-budget TV spots running through my head.
"Casa Gallardo - let yourself go!" Now imagine some dude in a leather waistcoat muttering in a full-on midwestern accent, EXCEPT when a Mexican word is used, whereupon he lapses into a perfect impression of Speedy Gonzales.
I guess you have to see it for yourself. My description can't do it justice.
