whoa! childhood flashback. Got quite the chuckle in my household. My wife was even able to identify the sound clip.

Great one!

I must be too young or too old. I have no idea what that was, other than hideous.

ahh, good times... a time when cheese was ok. Just saw Rocky II the other day, and that's another example of ultimate cheese from the 80's....

Think of CHiPs in a helicopter for those of you that do not know Airwolf.

Ahh, Airwolf - surely one of the all-time greats (along with Streethawk, Automan (anyone remember "Cursor"?!) & Manimal ...)

Sorry - I should probably introduce myself - I've been a member for a couple of months. Living in London, black/black '02 996 C4S.

OK, I've heard of Airwolf--it's definitely one of the all-time greats. But I've never heard of Streethawk, Automan, or Manimal. I think all-time greats would include shows more like the A-Team, McGuyver, or the 6 Million Dollar Man...

OK, chumpulump gets MVP status just for dredging up Manimal

"Dr. Jonathan Chase - wealthy, young, handsome. A man with the brightest of futures. A man with the darkest of pasts. From Africa's deepest recesses, to the rarest peaks of Tibet. Heir to his father's legacy and the worlds darkest mysteries...Jonathan Chase, master of the secrets that divide man from animal, animal from man, Manimal."

It lasted 8 episodes, then died. But waht a show.

BTW, behold the power of Google. I was poking around on Manimal, and I came upon a cast list, including one Michael D. Roberts. This guy is the Kevin Bacon of 1980's action/adventure TV, having had roles in:
The Incredible Hulk
Knight Rider
The Fall Guy
Airwolf (see how it comes full circle)
Crazy Like a Fox
MacGyver
Quantum Leap

His mother must be beaming with pride. He's a handsome devil, too....
