Sometimes you run in to the unexpected.

I bought a TT front bumper for my cab and was quoted $300 to paint and put on. Then while I was there I said to myself I might as well get my hood painted(lots of chips). Total cost about $700. Then I decided to paint my hard top (some scratches). Another $180. Then, they started to work on it and it turned out to be more involved and they wanted it to look perfect. This means extra time and dollars. Went to pick it up today...........$1400+ tax. Oh well.

 

Marc996Miami: You ought to at least read the thread before breaking my *****. We're not even talking about the front end. On a side note, I already have the oem turbo front.

I guess this is just the cost of doing business. Lesson learned. Aftermarket body parts just aren't going to be as good as OEM and you're gonna pay to bring them up to speed. I wish that turbo OEM rear would just slip right on like the front.

Thanks again Don for sending me those pics and info on your rear bumper. I'm starting to think exhaust extensions and the bumper not sliding in all the way wouldn't have been such a big deal afterall
