i truly believe letting a car sit, is one of the worst things you can do with a car.
again, this is just what i've been reading in forums albeit posters who are in the business of maintaining 911s...the distinction is even made between 911s that have been used gently v. ones that were run in a more spirited manner.

i tend to fall right in the middle of this balancing act called 911 ownership and life itself. i drive spiritedly at times (6th to 3rd gear drops WOT to redline for a brief hit of the speed crack, 1st/2nd gear half throttle to hear the PSE brap) and chillmode at times (commute, driving across the 520 bridge, transporting another person).

variety. having a car sit for a few months is not varying it up. i say for those of you who have no choice because of mother nature... then move.
