Orient Red 2003 C4S
EDIT: Do'h! All that work and I thought I was adding this to the great "996 Pic Thread." Well, I'm too embarrassed to do it now . . .
I saw a few C4S's mixed in, so thought I would add mine. It's a little more conservative than most of yours' but the Porsche designers are really good with curves so I did not think I needed to change them very much.
Color is Orient Red which is really hard to photograph. Changes a lot with the lighting.
I would call my mods more tweaks than modifications, but I like the almost retro look.
Here are a few photos after a home machine polish and detail (still learning). Tweaks include PSS10s (ride height 25.5 inches all around), Clear bra hood and bumper, hard wired V1, Fabspeed mufflers, RG5s with PS2s, Lloyds floor matts, etc. A lot of other options came with the car.
Just one "action shot." I always wanted to hear the mufflers, so we went out in the country and my wife drove back and forth a little. Took a few photos while I was at it. (Liked the Fabspeeds, BTW)
Another thing that drew me to this car was the kind of "retro" interior. I always wanted a vintage E-Type Jaguar (but without the electrical issues). The lines of the 996, along with the color and the interior just kind of clicked for me. In keeping with the slightly retro theme, I actually stayed with 18" wheels.
oops, this slipped in . . . not mine but wouldn't mind one

Thanks guys! I like the overall, kind of retro luxury touring effect. Clearly not the racing effect many of you are going for, but good of its kind. Like I mentioned, I look at it as my E series Jag alternative!
