C2 = narrow body and rear wheel drive, C4 = wide body and all wheel drive. Wide body cars are more shapely and full figured.

Correction, C4 is also a narrow body. C4S and Turbo's are widebody.

From my understanding, the rear is about 1" wider on each side compared to the narrowbody. The widebody can be fitted with much wider wheels and tires. Looks much better than narrow body in my opinion.

Also some of the differences is that the rear tail lights are different, rear bumper, sideskirts, and engine lid is different between the two.

You need to go and look for yourself. The wide body looks are dramatic.

All of the 996s are fantastic rides.
The c2 is the ultimate performance ride for the dry climates
The C4S is the ultimate performance for the icy areas
Very few of us can even approach the handling limitations of either vehicle.

Poising is done best in a wide body. I thought I could drive and I was humbled quickly at Nurburgring.

Why do you want a Porsche?

The facelift WB was 2003-2004 - the 997 is a WB styling form (working off a good thing).

to me C4S are the best looking... Wide body looks gorgeous, and the turbo does not look as "pure" with the vents on the rear fenders
