Wink C4S and 19" rims

I am thinking of adding a set of techart 19" rims onto my C4S cab. Just wondering what sort of tyres I am looking. Porsche dealer in Hong Kong are not that helpful...

Thanks for the help in advance!

Anyway here's a few pics of my car...

Thanks for the info!

I used to drive a boxster S. Whenever I took the boxster in for service I see this beauty sitting (I later found out that this was the show car for the dealers in HK). One day I asked for her hand and the price the quoted me was not too bad.

So I said goodbye to my boxster and took her home...

20C4S beat me to it, but Michelin PS2 rib is the tire to kill for.... What a beauty! Enjoy in good health.

Actually I was thinking of Bridgestones (S-02 or S-03). I heard that the Michelins are good too. But I will need to check the availability of that in HK. I am sure somewhere someone will have that in stock... for the right price.

vinnam,
u can run S-03 but the size is not perfect. plus u will have rubbing issue on the front since they only make 245 in stead of 235. rear will be 285/30-19. knowing that S-03 is very popular in Asia, might be a lot easy to get. also check out Conti V-max. a new good performer!

Thanks 20C4S... I just called my tyre shop. They dont normally stock the Michelins. But they will try to get me some quotes on them...

What about Yokohamas. I heard they will be doing a 19" performance tyre soon... again I am not sure whether they will have the right size.

Yoko has AVS Sport 315/25-19 for a while but the tire is too narrow for the rear wheel. even the S-03 285 is wider than that. u don't want the wheel stick out .25'' from the tire

If I remember right from my last trip to HK. The road conditions there are not the greatest. You sure you want to go w/ 19"s ???

Beautiful car!! I love the deviating seats!!

Are the S02's just as bad on 19"s as the 18"s with regard to road noise? Just awful!!

Thanks guys.

It is a ***** to find 315/25/19 around here.

I manage to locate 1 set however the shipment wont be in til Oct.

Yes 19" in HK is indeed a gamble. That's why I am keeping my 18" just as spares.

vinnam,
how much can u get it there? it's fairly cheap here in the US. is it worth it to ship it there? if the shipping is reasonable i don't mind ship u a set.

check here for all the tire info u need. they are also the board sponsor as well.
