Will a coupe roll bar fit in a cab?
I have an opportunity to pick up a porsche coupe roll bar at a decent price but I'm wondering if it will fit in my cab.
Anybody know if this will work?

No, it will not. The roll bars take into account the clearance differences between coupes and cabs.

It is strictly cosmetic, or will a coupe bar not physically fit in a cab? If I'm not mistaken, the interiors between the coupe and cab are identical with the main difference being the roof line. Right? Is it that the coupe bar will be too high and not allow proper operation of the cab roof?

No pissing contest with this answer:---straight facts!
Cab & Coupe bar are totally different. Cab bar has a slight curve about 15 inches form the bottom mounting point. Cab a Coupe roof lines are identical but the Cab side structure is thicker at the bottom of the inside quarter panel to accommodate the convertible top hydraulic actuators. That thickness accounts for the slight curve in the lower section of the bar. RUF had a coupe bar that we tried and was an inch and a half off on each side because of this difference. This only pertains to the Porsche Teq bar. Don't know about the others.

I dont know there are 2 roll bars made by porsche. Best is to get the part number and check it with P dealer.

Trust me on this one....the two bars for the cab and coupe are different. As I am told, I got the very last Teq Porsche Bar in existence and the bar for the Cab is no longer made by Porsche or available for purchase. The dealer does not even show a valid part number any more for the Cab bar. If you can find one for a Cab, buy it; its worth some change to a Cab owner who is looking.
Cab part #: no longer available but I can get it off of mine
Coupe part #: 996.580.981.00
Here is a pic that may or may not make sense>not a great angle.
