I don't condone it but damn can this guy drive
Apparently, on an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris. The film was limited for technical reasons to 10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine, through the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur. If you are at all familiar with Paris you will recognize quite a few landmarks.
No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit.
The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. The footage reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up several one-way streets.
Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the driver, and the film went underground until a DVD release a few years ago.

That's a classic...he was arrested in 1976 after release of the film, he then suggested he drove his own Merc 450SEL 6.9 in the film, sped up the footage, and dubbed in the sound effects of a Ferrari 275GTB. Ahhhh, c'est bon.

There are a number of sites dedicated to this, and even a "making of the movie" floating around the interwebs.

Seems like lot of debate about what he was driving and how it went down. Crazy to think someone would take the time to exactly match the sound track to be perfectly timed with heal toes right when it would need to happen. Especially in the pre computer days.
