thanks for the all the great feedbacks!
Clutch switch is bypassed!! Pressing the clutch is no longer needed.

Due to a lot of interests, I will assemble some extra kits.
pm if interested.

I don't get it. The start button on newer cars works in tandem with a proximity sensor in the key. So if you have the key in your pocket, you get in the car and push the button. In this case, you still have to put the key in the ignition (I assume turn the ignitiion on) and then push the button--a two-handed operation for what used to only take one.

It looks cool, but it seemes to me that a garage door opener would be a more useful way to plug the hole.

Heh, there's nothing to get. It was a mod he did for himself. Pretty inventive. If we wanted a real push start like that, might as well get yourself a lexus

Sweet! I've always been a bit disappointed with the "put the key in" step though...

you have to put the key in, to unlock steering wheel and turn off immobilizer.
Without key, its impossible to turn on the car.

Porsche offer it as a retrofit kit, but it is manufactured by Xanonex in Germany. Cheaper to buy it from them directly, or Suncoast.

For those who don't have rain sensors, and want to keep intermittent wiper switch,

I just did some re-wiring and the module will now work with a in-dash switch!!

Going out on a limb....

I don't mean to revive a dead thread but I need a post count of 15 to send a private message to Jam996 and have just joined. I have been searching the internet lately looking for a push button start for my boxster and I stumbled onto this thread. I know it is a long shot but I was wondering if Jam996 has any of these left. Can you let me know if you have some or not. Thanks for your time.

Left handed start is a Porsche signature and speaks of their motorsport lineage. I dunno why you would want to basterdize that!!!!
