Did I ruin my car?

Listmates,

I got new wheels on my 996- they are 19s, and a bit wider than my last wheels. I like them, but I have no taste. My wife hates them-using all kinds of expletives! Can I get some opinions?

Thanks.

Looks like wide body wheels on a narrow body car... sorry to say but they look totally wrong.

Cheers

I like the wheel itself, but too wide in the rear...do the fronts stick out too?

I have to agree...nice wheels, but not for the narrow body. Try to get the same style for your car's spec.

They are more than a little wide, they plain don't fit. You need to replace them. Sorry.

Fronts don't stick out at all. But the back do. Someone said they looked like California style!

On our cars front fitment is easier if buying used wheels because it's basically the same for all the 996's. Rears require different offset and widths depending on NB or WB. You definitely have WB fitment rear wheels on your NB car.

Style is okay

Offset is wrong and looks....well...like...

Out of the box... install a widebody kit to fix the situation.

Cheers
