Changing tires ... question about mixing brands

Time has come to replace my rear PZeros. However, my fronts are fine and probably could get another 4-6K out of them. I would like to switch to Mich PS2 but not sure I want to fork out the $$ for 4 just yet. What should I be concerend about if I were to just switch the rears? Would this look odd having different brands?

I'll do the obvious readiness steps (balancing, road tests, etc) and my fronts were balanced just 2 weeks ago.

While I realize this is not optimal, I'm leaving all of my options open given available cash flow and the price of these tires...

Thanks for your opinions.
Rob

I'm an idiot .. I didn't check my fronts well enough :-) ... just did and I'm buying 4. HOWEVER, if anyone wants to provide some general guidance on my questions, I'm sure some would benefit from the discussion.
Thanks!

I just changed my rear with Sumitomos and i still have the old Yokohomas on the front. My car handles awesome. I've put a few hundred miles on the new rear Sumitomos and these tires are incredible. They go for only $224 a piece and I have 19's
