Noise After Brake Pad Change????

Hey Guys,
I just replaced the pads w/ factory standard ones quite easily but there is now a "grinding" sound coming from the drivers side front wheel (wasnt there before). Its a constant, speed related sound that is not affected by applying the brakes. It does seem to go away when turning to the right. I havent had a chance to pull the wheel back off yet. Any suggestions????

Thanks
Frank

did you grease the retaining bolt that the pad and clamps slide on? If not, the pad might be rubbing against the rotor.

sees like you bent the heat plate behind the rotor, check that one first and also remember to always replace the hardware and use antiseize when replacing brakes

if that doesn't fix it, did you do any sort of bedding in? may just be the new pads?

+1 on heat plate

Same thing happened to me. I thought I was going crazy or I screwed something up during my pad change. This thread was my first hit on google but the thread below solved my problem.
