996 With Carbon Hood, Gemballa Bumper, New 02 Headlights

All the way from Dubai is our customer Jarkko with his Porsche 996C2. Jarkko wanted to update his 2000 Porsche to the newer 2002 headlights along with a new front bumper. Vivid Racing hooked up Jarkko with the Xtreme Motorworks GTO Front bumper, a MaShaw Carbon Fiber Hood, Precision Porsche GT3 Side Skirts, and the new headlights. The car is a definite nice transformation from the stock look it had. Stay tuned to see what Jarkko does next!

Thumbs up 996 With Carbon Hood, Gemballa Bumper, New 02 Headlights

I had a lots of luck, when I found Dan from Vivid Racing.
All the parts fitted nicely without any hassle.
And the service was also quick and professional.
Thanks to Dan as well as our Dubai based Mana Al Attar Racing Garage
who did brilliant job installing and painting the parts.
Mana Al Attar Garage Mobile Number +971502132211.
Thanks,

Looks fantastic! Are the bumper and side skirts made out of fiberglass? If so, how long will it be before ripples/undulations appear in them? I'd love to go this route with my car too (front bumper & side skirts), but am afraid of the fiberglass products. What say you all?

These will never have ripples. Fiberglass products are what 90% of these kits are made out of unless you pony up for TechArt or RUF.

Hey,
Fiberglass is ok for sure!!!
Remember that boats are done mostly from fiberglass, and they are ok for
years and years.
Sideskirts are not from fiberglass, they are original plastic type of material.
Thanks,
Jarkko

90% of all aero kits are fiberglass. This is not cheap chinese junk found on a Tercel. I had a replica TechArt bumper on my 996TT from Precision Porsche. I hit a piece of metal in the hwy at 110mph while on Bullrun. It took a small junk out. I got home had it repaired like new. A urethane bumper would have shattered.

Aren't the real Tech Art kits fiberglass to? RUF as well?

I don't think many companies are making non fiberglass kits these days....

TECHART uses OE suppliers to Audi, BMW and Porsche for their aluminum molds and plastic injection.

Per an email the TECHART USA Export Sales Mgr sent me two weeks ago, 100% URETHANE. Unfortunately, the cool front and rear bumpers aren't made for narrow body 996s, only for C4S and Turbo.

Wha? TECHART has a urethane two piece bumper for the C2 and C4 996 models.
I had it on my personal Lapis Blue Coupe.
