But, the seats, by themselves; LOVE THEM!
Actually I've thought going the other way - blending the interior to match the seats. The leather the seats are made out of smells so rich and the finish is supurb - I would want not to impulsively loose that. A color matched red shifter boot and armrest cover and then natural porsche rear seats and door inserts (the color is close) is what I've thought about. Any thoughts on blending the interior would be appreciated.

David,

Little known factoid. Ferrari seats are made by Recaro. Recaro is actually a German company (lots of folks think of them as an Italian company). They are made just outside of Stuttgart (many parts from Hungary) - does this make it OK? LOL

I like them and think no less of them being in there.

I would get a color swap dye kit and dye them black but leave the red if possible (tape off red?) That would look killer!!!!

Love the seats, not the color... you have a potpourri of emotions in there: carbon fiber, black leather, tan leather, red inserts, wood... O my! LOL! You can get a light blue headliner to induce an schizophrenia attack! LOL!

Seriously, I will rather have the "all black look" instead of the leather smell...

LOL - Can't argue with you. Color matched would of been better - much better. All black 599 seats would of cost more than my car is worth these days (if you could find them). I thought about just installing one for Nurburgring track days after drive a couple of days with them but was looking for constructive advice on how to make this windfall work.

Hey Steve.....you could make the "windfall work" by shipping them over to me....

There was a thread a month back maybe less that showed a complete color change dye job. Came out great! Look for it.

I'll look for it! Too bad that I'm in Germany and can't use the same resources that Stateside has . If I could do that then I'd sell my OEM seats in a heart beat ($$ here in Europe). This all started out looking to improve my time at Nurburgring and running into some F-Car seats for fun and office. If folks can find exoto 599 seats and re-color them they will not cheap anymore. Let's keep this close!

Or even better just buy a GT3. The Gt3 seats are nice looking but have you sat in them and believed that they were for a DD? That is not the route I wanted.

Just sharing here. The 599 seats will allow me to stop sliding around at Nurburgring and pamper my butt day to day. The cosmetics are not synced but when you are driving it is hard to see the color of the seats.
