Powder coated NB twists?

Has anyone seen or have pics of this done on the NB 18" twists? The recent post from Brando got me thinking. I really like this look, those came out great. I didnt want to hijack that thread with this so hence this post..

I've been considering powdering my wheels for some time. Has anyone seen these coated/painted and on a car? My 996 is black so extra points for pics on a black 996! What says the crowd?

I heard that powder coating aluminum wheels are a no no. During the baking process the aluminum could possibly warp and/or weaken the structural integrity. Not sure how true that is?? With my cargraphics... I had them painted..

Thanks Brando/win911

That was a good idea about photoshopping first. I just snapped a quick pic with my phone and spent 30 seconds editing it. I'm starting to think a graphite color might look good too. At least now I can get an idea of what it would look like and play around with it before doing anything drastic!

Personally I think black wheels on a black on black car would be too much black.
How about gunmetal metallic with polished rims/edges?

if yours are polished i'd say keep it polished. I think black on black is nice but not so much with the stock wheels..just my opinion
