New Wheels

You're not joking. I've already been struggling with keeping them clean as opposed to my old five spoke wheels. I've been looking for some nice wheel sponges. Griots seems to make some that might work.

I basically just compared the various features you got for each and felt that the JIC's gave you more for the same dollar.
They are 16 way adjustable instead of 9/10,
They have helper springs which are supposed to help (don't remember exactly why)
They have built in adjustable camber plates, the pss9's didn't.
You could choose spring rates, don't know if you could with the pss9's.
All in all, I just felt like you got more for your money with the JIC's.

Awesome! Thanks for the links, that's what I've been looking at. What are you using to actually clean the wheel? Fikse suggests a 50/50 solution of water and simple green. That just seems too easy. Is that what you're using or are you using something else?

I also wax them with a wheel wax once a year.
No problems unless you pick up some fresh tar from a road repair, then a tar remover might be needed. Have fun!
