996 Brake Fluid Change

996 Brake Fluid Change
I am a Corvette owner but I want to assist my brother (a Porsche owner) change the brake fluid in his 2002, 996.
Can anyone help me with the order we should bleed the brakes? I don't know how the lines are run in the 996...
My brother is bringing the Porsche to the racetrack along with me in my C6. It will be his first time at the track. We want to have fresh fluids in his car for this.
If there is anything else you can think of that we should know about Porsche brakes, please let me know.
Thanks!
Glenn

Like most cars... start from the farthest caliper from the master cylinder first.. right rear, left rear, rigth front, left front...then dont forget to bleed the clutch slave cylinder. Located in the driver side transmission area... look up there you will see it form under the car.
I use a power bleeder to make the job easier. Don't worry about bleeding the ABS... you can't unless you the the Porsche computer to cycle it on and off.
Other than checking your brake pads wear.Rotors and lines for any visible cracks...that's pretty much it for brakes. Have fun.

Thanks Win for the info. On the C5 Corvette GM had changed the plumbing half way through the model's production years (1997-2004). This new routing of the lines actually made the furthest brake from the Master Cylinder the drivers side rear. THAT is why I was asking, just in case there moght be something other than the norm with the 996.
I imagine the Porsche is designed like a normal car and I can do as you mentioned above.
I appreciate your quick reply...
