Update new pix car is just about done 4/25

tell the body shop to spray a bedliner in the fenders to protect the inner fender!

its black silicon, it makes it look like a gasket so it didnt look like its just glued on, it looks better in person, espec since the flash reflects everything
Without it it would of looked like this, and i thought that looked weird, almost like it just a fake 3D peice im hoping when its all done everything will tie intogether niceley.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have the vents go to ducts that cool the brakes or even feed more air to the intake? At least there would be a performance slant to them as well..
Having air channel into a dead space behind the quarter will actually work against you as it will create drag and perhaps some interesting noise.

I can alway cut the inner fender some to give it some space for air to pass through and try to cool the back brakes , but it sounds easier then it is , but as for as helping with air intake , that would be a lot of work, plus there's no turbo back there to cool of, so I don't think there would be an advantage , and I personaly just like the look of them

that would be worth it, superchargers and turbos need all the air it can get!!! so i think in your case it would be worth it

You have already weakened the rigidity in the quarter panels near the door frames, cutting too large of a hole in the inners would weaken that area more, and being mid-engine/rear wheel, that is where most torque stress is and weight stress on corners, etc.

So does your intake... a "ram air" to the intake box would be kinda cool in my opinion, but a ***** to plumb. One thing to consider in cutting the inner fenders is structural integrity.

#27
