TechArt C4S - Anyone Know This Car???
2003 C4S with TechArt front bumper, roof spoiler, rear wing, rear bumper pieces, and coilover suspension. HRE wheels plus carbon fiber and black leather interior. Car is located in NorCal. Anyone know this car, know the previous owner, or know any history on it? Seeing as how it's well modified I'd think it's been seen around. Google searches on the plate number and VIN pull up very little though. Clean Car Fax. I've got a deposit down on the car and am going to pick it up this weekend. I just thought I'd double check to see if anyone here knows anymore about it.
Thanks,
Kirk

That's a bad *** looking c4s , let us know if it works out , and remeber deposits on cars don't hold the car , just the price , so if someone goes before you do , they will sell it , just letting you know good luck

Sweet car...I'm not sure if this helps but it looks surprisingly similar to this car on the Wheelexperts site:

It even has the same yellow brakes. Maybe you can give them a call?
Good luck, please don't tell me the price because I'll probably cry.

Thanks man, yes that is the car. With a little more research I just got what I was looking for. This car was actually owned by "Redlinerobert" who has been a member on 6speed here since 2003 with over 4,000 posts! This was exactly the kind of thing I was looking for - some history on the car. I can now get a hold of Robert to get some more details on the car. He's the one who did all of the mods. Ain't the Internet great? You can find just about anything here!

I found the previous owner and he was kind enough to call me last night and give me more of the history on the car. There's a lot of history about it here on 6speed too in his old posts. It was great timing though as now I'm going to get a box full of goodies (take off parts) to go with the car, plus photos from a photo shoot (with models) that was done before.

I swapped on the carbon fiber hood from my Boxster just for grins and giggles to see how it looks. I don't know, I haven't decided to leave it yet or not. Here are a couple pictures with my lovely Assistant from last night.
Feedback is certainly welcome....

i was planning on wrapping my hood, roof, and rear wing in black this summer but after seeing your car, i'm shying away from it..
i think your 4S is one of the best looking ones out there... i vote for keeping the original silver hood
