that will buff out ...
Glad to hear you made it out of that alive and okay....
It just wasn't your time.....
Agree with others, have your self a follow up check up. Most injuries doesn't present themselves till later.

Glad you're okay! Obviously it was a hell of an impact to completely knock the driver side wheel, axle and strut assembly off of the car. I echo the others on the health issues; make sure YOU get thoroughly checked out. It took me a while to get better from a low speed side impact when I was knocked sideways from another car in my Benz. I didn't feel anything as well to start, but later had upper and mid-back issues. Cars can ALWAYS be replaced; they are just things no matter how much we love/ like them!

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I'm sure it'll be an interesting period of time dealing with insurance companies and doctors but what can you do? Hell of a lot better than the "other option"!

Glad you're ok. The car would appear to be a total loss. Get checked at the doctor as mentioned above.
As for the new motor in your car. Get ready with all documents that you can find. New motor, new bumper cover, etc... Although it may not get you much, it should help with some bargain power. You do not have to take what the insurance offers your first, there is some room there. It may take a little while, and prove to be tiresome.... But you can work on them with their number.
Good luck.
