So this is my dilemna.........I love love love the look of the 997 gt3.....I currently have a 99 C2 with a full gt3 aero kit....lovely car......however here in the UK the market has taken a real nose dive leaving my car worth just £16,000.
A half decent 997 C2s will cost £35,000 plus a gt3 conversion which is out of my current price range.......so I'm thinking about putting a 997 gt3 front end conversion on mine as the price difference is so great.....plus i have spent a fortune on my 996 c2 and love it.

Has anyone done a 996 to 997 gt3 front end conversion?

I have seen quite a few on offer but they all seem to be fibre glass kits.......when ever i have seen someone who has anything fibre glass on their car it normally looks ****e.........are there any kits that at least use oem fenders / wings.

Any help and advice on this matter would be greatly appreaciated as i am keen as mustard to get the conversion done.

plus i hit a cat the other month which cracked my front bumper.....so i need to replace or repair that anyway........not that i need an excuse to upgrade to a 997 front end ;-)
