shopping for a 996- help me decide

I found an 00 blue c2 conv with the hard top ,trip and 40k miles for $25.900 at a local Toyota dealer. Ive actually been looking for a 02-04 coupe in manual for some time but this one looks good and the price i think is really good. The center console is banged up but i would be repainting that and customizing certain things. I also checked out an 99 yellow c2 conv with a hardtop also at another dealer and they were asking $28k with 32k miles. Any suggestions? do you guys think they are priced correctly? anyone ever have isues with the conv rag top? Im digging the blue one . i will get a car fax on it and a ppi done if i deside to purchase.
