There has been a ton of discussion on the proper mounting of competition seat belts.


I wanted to take this oppurtunity to show you how a proper seat belt anchor is secured in a race car. ( 997 GT3 CUP ) shown.

As you can see it is NOT mounted to the seat or seat mount in anyway shape or form.


The correct and proper way to mount your competition harness is as follows:

As you can see these are mounted to the chassis directly.
