brake upgrade to GT-3 stuff

I'm trying to get a quick poll on upgrading the 996 brakes to the factory GT-3 calipers and rotors. I'm working on a fairly quick and simple up grade procedure.

Any interest out there for this?

I did mine from C2 to Turbo... same idea, you need to change the front wheel carriers. I thought GT3, but the costs were silly.

I know we can do that. What I mean is a way to mount the GT-3 brake set-up right to the original 996 front uprights.

Ya there is a guy that just posted that they are working on some sort of mount to do just that.

Mind you, I bought everything for about $1,800. Calipers and rotors for the front alone from a GT3 will probably exceed that.

Oh, and you will need to upgrade your master cylinder to have correct volume proportions. I upgraded mine to a Turbo in my process...

Cheers
