They're RG5's. I think the rears are 10.5", but they could be just 10". I should know that off the top of my head, shouldn't I?? With 245's, I have some slight rubbing, sometimes on wheel lock. That's why the next ones will be 235.

Yes, those are my sizes and I am VERY happy with them. The 305/25R19 is a hard size to find, but it specs out closer than a 285/30 or 295/30R19 to the correct height.

I love 19's. Got mine on this weekend. GT3 RS Replicas and HR springs. I have driven about 250 km with them and the comfort is not bad at all!

What width are your wheels and what tire size are you running?

Cool

I have a set of both. 19" RH Allurads with PS'2s in 235/35 & 315/25 & 18" Stock hollow Turbo Twists w/ PS's in 225/40 & 295/30.

I really notice no difference in ride quality as my car is lowered on coil overs and set up pretty stiff for performance.

However, I can deff tell a difference in handleing when pushed hard.

The PSM almost never activates in the mountain twisties with the 18's.

It freaks out a lot more with the 19's, and feels like it locks up one of the front tires for a split second.

So my opinion is....19's for show, 18's for go.

18's for sure. I had nothing but that size on my Pcar. Ride quality was great (make sure you chose tires correctly), and I think I had 7-8 different style wheels, I couldn't make up my mind. haha

wheel/tire size

I have a set of 19" Kinesis rims with 235/35 up front and 315/25 in the rear. I was told that in the turbos with all-wheel drive the tire size outer diameter must match between the front and rear. It was recommended that I change the fronts to 245/35.

Cool

That makes no sense..... in PS2's

235/35/19 = 25.5 overall diameter
315/25/19 = 25.2

Close enough match to keep the front diff happy.....

and
245/35/19 = 25.8

so you would be going in the wrong direction.

Yoko makes a 245/30R19, but it is probably too short. I think the 235-315 is the closest match for you.

Question

Thank you for the feedback. I wasn't sure the guy knew what he was talking about. My suspension and wheel setup was done by a high end shop so I was a little surprised to hear him say that. Could I go higher in rear profile for a better match? Is there a formula to figure out the diameter?
