My 00' 996 Carrera Cabriolet front end converted to 997 GT3 is finally almost complete. I also have the turbo rear bumper and GT racing seats, full fabspeed exhaust, BBS RS-GTs 18"rims, full audio system, 3-component speaker system with floor mount sub-woofer and sat. radio , full body paint (Audi RS6)including hard top, etc. etc. Still have to put on a full aftermarket suspension system and side skirts and some other stock parts. I fully rebuilt and sandblasted all stock brake calipers, repainted from stock black color to porsche Red. I re-emblemed the calipers, used SS brake lines and refilled system with ATE Super Blue fluid. Tranny has Amsoil fluid. Here is a few pictures and video below.

The P-car is repainted in the Audi RS6 color (Ebony Pearl Effect) a year ago in the project. And the pictures and video dont show how beautiful the black pearl color is. I did not like the porsche stock flat black. My good friend Tim (guy with the beard) had left to paint the optional hard top and the fuel door. The paint house I used got the paint codes wrong and as you see the hard top and the fuel door is slightly lighter that the rest of the car. This is being repainted.
As far as the build goes. It is fiberglass kit with carbon fiber reinforcment backing from Betterbodies motorsport inc. This kit is direct-fit to a certain extent but for a average porsche owner to do this fitting with a body shop is $$$$ in labor. Because there are alot of little customizing you do have to do.
Engine is stock for the most part with full Fabspeed exhaust system and intake, ECU so it a has alittle extra power. I just did the 996 engine IMS problem replacment over this weekend. I am putting on a brand new soft-top for this weeks project.

First off, I am no kid I what do you mean by that? I can use anything I want to use on the street. Techincally using modified turbos, aftermarket exhaust with high flow cats, use of Cam gas is race only. Are you the Race use only police????
This is one of many, many performance car projects I have built. I built a 1100hp Supra back in the day when Vin Diesel was still a bouncer at a night club ( before the first fast and Furious movie days). Know who you are talking to before you talk. I am just online sharing info to others.
