Heck w/the fuse......what are they $.50 ?

Guess I'd stay w/my post regarding meltdowns..........that's a few yrs back and probably not in Rennlist Archieves anymore.......but personally, I'd use some caution.

One thing to reach for the higher color temps that are avail today........another thing completely, to significantly change OE wattage (in that very expensive lamp housing )

Has anybody had the 100W installed for awhile without any problems? Is there any potential downside here besides blowing the fuse?

Thanks!
I've had the PIAA Xtreme White H3 bulbs (4,150K) in my last 2 Carreras with no problems. According to PIAA, they produce 110W of light, but only use 55W. It looks like the Xtreme White Plus bulbs you ordered are the newer version of the bulbs I have--check here:

OK...they're installed, look great.. and poursha's right, they are indeed 55W bulbs but throw off 110W of light so they shouldn't act any differently from the OEM 55W buls as far as wattage or heta etc. But the phrase "melt down" did concern me and it doesn't hurt to double check.
Thanks much!
