Carrera Rims vs. Turbo Twists

I'm in the market for some 18" OEM rims and came across two similar deals.

I am having a hard time deciding between the two sets. Price wise they are the same, tires are comparable and of about equal tread depth.

Would you rather set 1 or set 2?

Set 1: Carrera by BBS (Based on the 944racing.de website, these are lighter than set 2)

Set 2: Turbo Twists II's

Opinions would be good, I've been trying to find some better pics of the rims on 911's, but have had a harder time finding the first set in photos.

Thoughts?

The second set is mismatched. The first link in step 2 shows a type 2 while the second link shows a type 1. Make sure you are comparing the right wheels. IMO, if you can get the type 2, go for it. I think those look great!

I would go for set #1. Lighter and looks better in my opinion.

I don't think you can go wrong with either wheel, but while I think the Twists look great, I love the way the Carrera 5-spoke looks on our cab.

Good luck whatever the choice!

The 5 spokes seem to be more popular based on resale prices, but if you are on the fence buy the twists because they cost less.

I like the 5 spoke

Never been crazy about the twists, I just sold my stock twists and now use 19 sport designs as my winter wheels. Look at a set of 19's just fills the wheel well better.
