If you're a novice, the suspension will give you substantially improved feel. Once you understand the feedback you'll start to understand the car. If PSS9 is similar to my X74, you will also have the benefit of a substantially less harsh ride at the cost of more firmness. In my late 50's with 3 herniated disks, the added firmness is a non issue.

You're only going to get disappointment and heartache. Secondly, when you're stuck someplace and your car is handling for shist, or worse yet the misadjusted chassis puts your 90k car into a guardrail all the experts giving chassis tuning advice on line will be as scarce as the Taliban.

PSS9 is a coilover system made by Bilstein
ROW stands for "rest of the world" does not include USA
X74 & MO3O are suspensions offered by Porsche with the X74 being the more aggressive of the 2

Just wondering, how many of us actually track our cars on a regular basis, esp those of you with the major chassis mods?
Just curious. I track mine 8-10 days a year+, stock sport suspension 030 C4S.

Robyn, I think you're probably in the minority. More power to you though!
I got a sneeky feeling most of these cars have never seen the track side of the parking lot, jmo.

Drive a car with the PSS-9s and GT3 sways that is set up for the type of driving you plan on doing (by a professional) and then decide. The car with this set-up is lightyears ahead of the stock or even the M030.
The GT3 sway bars DO NOT require the use of fancy droplinks (of course I bought them - $200, not $1K??) . You don't have to be a track junkie to want the best handling car possible. My car with the new suspension is more suited for the road than a GT3. I have driven both.
I track it 2-3 times a year and if I could post my last video you'd see me passing all kinds of Porsches! I love to autoX and she kicks butt and looks great with a low stance. Go for it!!!!

You mentioned you purchased the droplinks for $200.. Can you please give me a link or the shop you ordered these from.. I'm in debate between the TRG setup and the GT3 at the moment and this will help my decision...
Thanks,
Dn

I just ordered 19" HRE 540Rs (black center with polished lip) from Peter at Wheel Warehouse. He really knows his stuff. I think he sleeps on a bed of HREs. When I ordered my 840Rs for my CLK 500, I ended up going to a local dealer...big mistake...when the wheels arrived, they apologized for miss-quoting me and wanted $1,000 more. They made it up by offering me Brabus parts at cost...they never arrived.
Here's my configuration:
19x8.5 front (235/35/19), 2" lip
19x11 rear (305/25/19), 3" lip
I'd like to get a ride in your car some day. See how PSS9s and Sway bars feel. How do you find the ride in your car versus Arlings GT3? I got a ride in Arlings GT3 and the ride was pretty nice...I didn't find it rough at all. Must be the driver

Apx2Apx,
Mine came from the Racers Group outside SanFrancisco and I think they were actually closer to $350, but try these for alot less....
Try http
://www.dartauto.com/996suspension.html
or this company located near me in Baltimore can put them together super CHEAP - but you need to walk in with your old ones.

Good luck!
