Banban is infamous around these parts
Turbo twists, et47 offset on nb

I found a set of rims but the offset I'm not sure about

fronts are fine, however the rears I'm not sure if they fit
8x18 et50
10x18 et47 (part is 996.362.140.02 per 944racing.de)

will they fit on a nb996? It looks like they are for a turbo? They're Turbo Look II rims.

I did a search the hard way (had to call the porsche dealership to figure out they were from a Turbo/C4S) and looks like they likely won't fit.

Anyone's experience would help, sounds like the rims can be machined to increase the offset

Hi,

No problems with ET47. These are Winter wheels for Turbo/4S. I had them on my NB before I bought Techarts. Just put them on.

Be careful with these wheels on a NB. The 47's are 18mm farther out than the stock 65's. whether they rub depends on the tires you use. I had some 47's with PS2 (265/40-18) that defintely rubbed, even after rolling the fenders. With 265/35-18 it may not have been a problem. You would be better off finding a set that were specifically sized for a NB. The 47's are sized for a WB. Just my experience.

They will fit a NB, but the tires will be even with or stick out from the wheel well. A wider offset is prefered.

As I said before I had them on my Car. They didnt rub even with Pirelli 285/30/18. No rolling the fenders was done. Maybe there are some differences betwen models.
