Hey all...
When I said that found a sweet car, I had no idea it would be like this. This thing is AS NEW. Unreal!!
To start off the trip, my bud Mark from Atlanta, and I flew to Albany, NY early Sat morning to pick it up. Waiting for us, was the previous owner. I must say, a very nice guy who was a pleasure to deal with from the start.
As we walked outside, there it was. Beautiful. Perfect. Not a single nick on her. I looked her over with as open minded as I could be, but I couldn't find anyhting. AWESOME.
We did the paperwork and I took delivery:
My friend and I took off westbound at around 12:00pm. We decided on a route that took us across NY, through PA, across OH and ended up in Indianapolis 12:30am Sunday. One long freakin day and into the night....
Weary travelers:
We did have a heart stopping incident. Late Sat, coming through Erie, PA., I was chatting it up with Mark and for second I looked away from the road. At that second, I suddenly noticed a large retread from a tractor-trailer lying dead in front of us!! SCHIT!!! - WHAM!!!
We immediately pulled over to look at the carnage. Thankfully, there was nothing but some skid marks on the mufflers and the front airdam. WHEW!! Talk about relieved. (Though, I have to admit, when I got it home I investigated further. The only thing damaged was the driver's side of the undertray. I will repair / replace this soon.)
Upon reaching Indy at 12:30, we grabbed a room from at a Fairfield Inn, slept for 4 hours and headed out around 5'ish am Sunday.
We got into St. Louis around 9:00am and cruised home. Unfortunately, the weather turned rainy and I could only get this pic when I put her in the garage.
All in all, a great trip that was long as hell, but completely worth it. I'll get some better pic s when I have cleaned her up. For now, I am now off to sleep.
Talk tomorrow...
cheers,
Chad

IMHO what is a must.
Litronic (Xenon) lights
Three spoke steering wheel
and a little bit of carbon fiber in the interior.
Other than that it looks to me that you got a sweet 996.
