Need Suggestion on a beater car

Hey people... need your help im thinking of gettinga beater car for me to drive to work... im only looking to spend atmost 3500-4000 buxs so it will eb a real beater..

i am thinking of getting any of theses

1.) 1991-1992 Nissan 240sx hatchback (auto)
2.)1994-1995 Nissan 240sx Coupe (auto)
3.) 1994-1995 HOnda Accord 4 or 2 door (auto)
4.) 1994-1996 Acura Integra 4 or 2 door (auto)
5.) 1992-1994 BMW 3i8 either 4 or 2 door (auto)

do yo have any more reccoemndations, im looking for a 4 cylinder car that is cheap on gas and an automatic, so i dont have to shift gears in traffic..

what are your opinions on this car... i used to have a 1991 nissan 240sx hatchback,a nd i used to love driving that thing..e asy to maintain too...

im not really a fan of bmw but i was looking at the recycler and i can find a mw 318 for a round 4000 buxs... but i do not know anything about their reliability and maintenance costs..

Im not in a hurry to buy one, it'll probably take me 6 mo's to buy it..

im currently just paying off my bills ...

thanks in advance

Oakland is infamous around these parts
Best car I've ever owned

2.)1994-1995 Nissan 240sx Coupe (auto)

I consider this car the best car I've ever ever owned. Very reliable. relatively cheap maintenance...little to no problems.
Kinda fast, rear wheel drive, nice interior, does not get old.

Best of all, I tried to kill it so that my wife would buy me a new car, and it would not die. I ended up selling it above blue book. I actually made money on this car and I drove it for 60K miles.

I must have spent only $160 on a set of brakes, changed the oil only 4 times, a set of tires. Total cost of operation was probably less than $600.

I like the Honda Accord. Reliable, easy to maintain and very good on gas.

I agree w/ Oakland. My wife had one. It was an excellent car.
