front bumper

I need to order a front bumper......fast!

Having a hard time deciding between the three.

1. 996 GT3 Aero Bumper (OEM and poly) - everyone here knows how it looks like, therefore, no need to post a pic or link.

2. GT2 Bumper for 996 Mk1 - FRP body with poly lip

http://www.nrauto.com/sub_index.asp?makeid=Porsche&spage=Bodykit
look for "GT Type II Front Bumper 996 '99-'01"

3. Turbo bumper for 996 Mk1 with factory grilles - poly body

http://www.e-partssales.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=P&Product_Code =986TTBumper&Category_Code=POTE996EX

This is to be matched with the gt3tek side skirts and rear valance that I already have on my car.

Since this is for a lowered car, it had to be made of poly. For #2 above, at least the lowest part is made of poly despite the body being FRP. This seems to match the sideskirts and the least expensive among these 3 choices, but I'm afraid it may make the car look a bit nose heavy on some angles.

I like #1 because it seems to match the eggyolk lights pretty well and it is the most "period- & model-correct" but it is also the most expensive one, unless there is a replica. Actually, there is a replica on ebay that is made out of duraflex (fiberglass/poly hybrid???) but i'm not really sure how well the fitment is going to be.

The reason for #3 is because, since I will be spending the $$$, I thought why not change the look from stock a bit (#1 looks similar to stock but just more aggressive), but I don't know how well this bumper is going to match the sideskirts and rear valance (well, the sideskirts and rear valance aren't wild-looking anyway and looks pretty subtle but they don't look anything like stock).

Opinions?

Thanks guys!

I like a more aggressive look. If you look at my avatar you'll see my opinion would be for the GT2 bumper from NRAuto. I got mine from betterbodiesmotorsport.com. Mine is fiberglass, but in the hands of someone that knows what they're doing, you can't tell if it's fiberglass, FRP or polyurethane (unless of course you run into something).

My $.02

I agree with Zookie. GT3 would be the best way to go for your car. Also since its poly its a good choice. For a street car poly is just by far the best way to go.

Ok, I just purchased a GT3 bumper. I thought to myself that after all that novelty for the GT2 & Turbo bumper had faded, the GT3 is the most sensible choice and will remain the classic bumper for my particular model. I never stopped being attracted to those 996 Mk1 pics with the GT3 bumper, therefore, I believe this is the bumper that I'll never tire of in the long run. I was able to purchase one in between the price of the GT2 and the Turbo.......and it's OEM.
