Painted Turbo Rims

Thinking of painting my Turbo rims. Can you guys with painted turbo rims on your cars post some pics. Color doesn't really matter, just trying to get some ideas.

Kirky- Thank you, looks great. Do you have any pics of the whole car?

Brando- Your car looks awesome! I like the satan black and I like how the red visually separates the rim from the tire. One of the concerns I have with black rims is that they blend into the tire, which makes the rims look smaller. The red takes care of that.

996MkIaero- Thanks for the pic!!


Currently I'm thinking a gunmetal gray or something similar to Brando's except with a gunmetal ring opposed to red. I'm open to suggestions too

Here you go. I had them done the same colour as the car and made sure they had several coats of clear and bakeing is preferred. No lets just hope I dont scrap em while parking!

Hey.....that's SATIN......not Satan.
I did them myself with spray cans and they are holding up great!

Several track days and swaps and virtually no nicks or chips. Used red, pre curved tape rings for motorcycle wheels that I got off ebay, then sprayed clear over them.

Prep work is the key.
