Questions

Hi im looking to buy my first Porsche, Ive been looking at a 911 at a local dealerships website. It is advertised in an advertisement as a Carrera 4. I am wondering if its a mistake because the model decal on the back says Carrera.
Can any of you tell if its a wide or narrow body?

I appreciate the help,
Ryan

Agreed. The car pictured is a narrowbody. I thought the C4 had a "Carrera 4" as the emblem on the rear, but I could be wrong, or maybe that's just on the 997. C4S is the widebody, about 2-3" wider overall in the hind quarters vs a NB.

I do not think it is a carrera 4 because the spare is set up differently in the trunk. That setup is for a carrera 2.

This is a Carrera 2, it has black brake calipers.

Carrera 4 has sliver brake calipers.

Is that a 2001? If so, I just bought the exact same car 2 months ago except a coupe instead of a cab. Balck, Savannah Beige interior, cassette radio with the dsp panel, same rims. Let me know if you need pricing advice.

I think mine are the soft/supple leather seat upgrade. They look different than the ones in the pictures, but most likely would not affect price even a little bit.

Also, I recently installed a black rear console. A must upgrade for the Sav Beige interior if you ask me. Hmmm... I seemed to have wandered off thread....
