It's like you just got a brand new car when you're done with a wash and wax. That first drive after the last buff is pretty darned good, pretty darned good. The other 6 days of the week are, well, not quite so good.

I spend a lot time on my cars but it is so worth it. I keep up on them on a nearly daily basis.

I always had black

This time I got a white car and it shows dirt also but it is so much easier than black, even my wife swithched from black. However, my next car will probably be black, I still think it is the nicest color.... when clean

Keep it clean, and drive it and night when it's a little dirty. Black looks awesome in the dark...

Black also looks great in the rain when all the dirt has been washed off.

I actually think my car gets a TON of attention since its black. Actually Basalt, but still black.

THE BAD:
I do have a PITA problem of spray detailers streaking and not wiping off well...any suggestions, I've tried almost all of them ( meguiars ultimate quick detailer is best for now) , looking for one that I can just get at the local auto store for now..

Almost like using bad window cleaner and streaking windows but on the body itself with these spray detailers...

I had all black cars for over 10 years. I was looking for a black/black 996 and I ended up with a silver one. I still like black but man silver is so much easier to keep clean... I mean it just doesn't show the dirt as much .

I'm back in black and love it although daily care is involved. Meguiars ultimate detailer works well for me too. I just need to find some wax that doesn't leave the white reside on the rubber and trim pieces.

There's quite a few wax products that don't leave the white residue. Only problem is that it attracts too much dust. I eventually gave up. I just wait till it rains.
