My side indicator lights come on when the headlights are turned on but do not flash when the turn signal or hazards are on. The front and back signals work fine. Any ideas?

okay after doing some searching I found out that they are not supposed to flash, I thought it was a requirement in the US to have flashing side indicator lights!

I just changed my side markers to the clear ones - and when I checked that they were working, I was curious about the same thing!

 

i know it is a requirement for us-spec cars to have these front (amber) and rear (red) sidemarkers. if there are any sort of signal lights on the side, on some cars, they are usually found on the front fenders between the front wheel wells and the front door or on the side mirrors.
